The Company

 

U.S. Financial Technology (U.S. FinTech) is seeking an experienced Senior Product Analyst to join our team of talented professionals. This is a full-time remote opportunity. 

 

U.S. FinTech built and operates the largest and most advanced mortgage securitization platform in the world, supporting the Uniform Mortgage-Backed Security (UMBS) of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Job Information

U.S. FinTech is seeking a skilled business analyst to support our suite of data products and the clients we support. Candidate will be able to balance multiple, diverse workstreams supporting both the (1) Client Services/Reporting team, providing daily business operational and client support, and (2) the Data Products team, by playing a pivotal role in the design, operationalization, and documentation of new and evolving solutions; helping to scale delivery while driving client value.

 

The ideal candidate is passionate about building modern data products, solving complex user needs, and implementing robust processes to ensure repeated success. They will be deeply involved in translating business requirements into usable features and ensuring our clients are well managed and informed throughout. Candidate is capable of forming strong customer relationships both internally and externally as well as taking responsibility for customer satisfaction.

 

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a curious and collaborative mindset. This analyst will be expected to regularly engage with senior-level executives both internally and with our clients while partnering across internal teams to ensure successful product delivery from inception through launch and iteration.


Key Job Functions

 

  • Track and manage issues, enhancements, and product requests, helping prioritize work to align with strategic goals.  
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for data products by developing clear, detailed user stories and functional specifications.  
  • Use tools such as Jira, Confluence, and AWS applications to manage documentation, workflows, and build dashboards.  
  • Develop and maintain business processes, standard operating procedures, and product training that drive consistency and user engagement 
  • Author product documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and release notes; translate technical content in a consumable way to stakeholders during releases  
  • Facilitate client facing sessions to capture needs, demonstrate features, and support onboarding or adoption.  
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager and key stakeholders to manage and prioritize the product backlog. 
  • Review and update operational documentation with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Support data validation, user acceptance testing, and rollout of new releases. 
  • Provide daily operations support for business processing activities 
  • Participate in various internal and external client meetings and “connect the dots” between meetings, issues, initiatives and teams to both get in front of issues, as well as to proactively identify ways to improve service delivery to internal and external clients. 
  • Track Service Level Agreement (SLA) and operational KPI performance; clearly communicate performance and outcomes across the organization and to our clients  
  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing governance and change management processes to better serve the needs of the Customer. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education   

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required  
  • Related advanced degrees and certifications are a plus  

Minimum Experience  

  • Minimum 5 years of business analyst or related experience, preferably with exposure to data or finance products, financial services, or SaaS solutions.  
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship currently or in the future. U.S. FinTech does not offer H-1B sponsorship for this position.

 

Specialized Knowledge & Skills     

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to maintain strong customer relationships and effectively convey information to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Strong organizational and prioritizing abilities; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced remote environment with shifting priorities. 
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence or other software management tools used for requirements gatherings, backlog management, and documentation.  
  • Solid understanding of data concepts, including data management, analytics, modeling, and sharing. Technical fluency is a plus. 
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functional teams and contribute in high-velocity environment. Assertive and able to take charge of a situation when appropriate with the ability to lead, motivate and influence others.   
  • Exhibits flexibility and tolerance for ambiguity with the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing business environment; self-starter; results oriented, accountable, and willing to take on new challenges that extend beyond their comfort zone. 

 

Pay Range $109,250 to $125,500 

U.S. FinTech's pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law. U.S. FinTech offers a competitive total compensation package, which includes a performance bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage, PTO, and a broad range of other benefits.
