U.S. Financial Technology (U.S. FinTech) is seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Risk Management Analyst to join our team of talented professionals. This is a full-time remote opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Job Information

The ERM Senior Associate IV, reporting to the Senior Director of Enterprise Risk Management, will join the ERM Governance Team within the Second-Line-of-Defense. The Senior Associate will support several ERM Programs including, but not limited to, Third-Party Risk Management, Scenario Analysis, and Second Line Control Testing programs. The Senior Associate will partner with business divisions in encouraging ERM Framework adoption, influencing risk culture, and coordinating risk management activities. This is a highly visible and dynamic role that interacts with all levels of management.


Key Job Functions

 

  • Actively manage the third-party supplier and fourth-party sub-servicer portfolio through periodic third-party risk assessments, risk profile updates, and related Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) program activities.
  • As a third-party subject matter expert, perform ongoing identification, monitoring, and reporting on the current third-party risk landscape, including key, emerging and concentration risks with actual and/or potential impacts on U.S. FinTech’s third-party / fourth party supplier portfolio.
  • Support the Program Owners in the maturation and maintenance of the TPRM, Scenario Analysis and Second Line Control Testing Programs, including policies, procedures, risk appetite, related metrics and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tool.
  • Lead and perform second-line control testing to ensure controls are effective.
  • Support and collaborate with key stakeholders across all lines of defense to execute TPRM, Scenario Analysis and Second Line Control Testing Program activities.
  • Contribute to the assessment of new emerging or system risks, across relevant industry, economic, and academic resources.
  • Consider new regulatory requirements and guidelines as they pertain to scenario development and analysis.
  • Assess the risk implications of business plans, their achievability, and key areas of uncertainty, to inform related management decision making.
  • Manage relationships with broader business and corporate service functions to monitor risk exposures and advise on risk mitigation strategies, where needed.
  • Ensure key information is distributed and supported by relevant qualitative/quantitative data, to stakeholders to drive understanding and decisioning.
  • Provide 2nd Line effective challenge, asking questions and gathering facts/data to support decision making.
  • Provide data/responses and participate in meetings related to regulatory, GSE, and/or internal audit requests or exams, as necessary
  • Produce recurring and, if required, ad-hoc risk-based reports for key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis and communicate observations to key stakeholders, as required.
  • Act as trusted risk advisor to the business by providing guidance, support, and training as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education   

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college/university.
  • Certified Third-Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) designation is preferred.

Minimum Experience  

 

  • A minimum of 5 years of related work experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Auditing/Compliance, Third-Party Risk Management, Scenario Analysis or Operational Risk.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship currently or in the future. U.S. FinTech does not offer H-1B sponsorship for this position.

 

Specialized Knowledge & Skills     

  • Strong attention to detail to review and provide insight, advice, and credible challenge to business areas on risk related matters
  • Highly motivated, proactive individual with the ability to operate collaboratively in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and execute tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced analytic and reporting skills using Excel (e.g., v-lookup, formulas, macros, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience using GRC Tools, such as Open Pages, to assess, manage, track and report on enterprise risks is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of the functions of an effective third-party risk management, second line control testing, and scenario analysis programs.  
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment frameworks and controls and ability to translate in simple terms
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent presentation and written communications skills. 

Pay Range $123,500 to $142,000

U.S. FinTech's pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law. U.S. FinTech offers a competitive total compensation package, which includes a performance bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage, PTO, and a broad range of other benefits.
